Korean skincare: What's so good about Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream?

 Hello my little bunnys today I want to show you the korean skincare products that I use and try my best to give a good rewiev. Also I try to answer you the big question: is it really worth the money? 

So the hype about korean skincare is everywhere. Instagram, youtube and tiktok are obsessed with these products because of the use of natural ingredients. Also the dream of glowy healthly skin is a really big value in the korean culture as well so there must be something good about their products right? 

1. SOON JUNG: 

Now let us talk about the first product: 

the 2x Barrier Intensive Cream from SOON JUNG. The package is really simple but it has a big plus point. Not only it comes from a tube it also has a screw cap what is for me the best hygienic type of package that I've ever saw. There is no chance for dry clumbs or bacteria. You can easily clean the cab. The ingredients: water, propanediol, pentaerythrityl tetraethylhexanoate, capric triglyceride (a fragrance), glycerin (like almost every cream), helianthus annuus seed oil, polyglyceryl-3 methylglucose distearate, She Butter, cetearyl alcohol (fatty alcohol), panthenol (the love of my life), madecassoside (antioxidant), camellia sinensis leaf extract ( green tea extract), 4-nethylbenzylidene camphor (UV absorber), 1,2-hexanediol, potassium carbomer, xanthan gum, butylene glycol, disodium EDTA.

So it's basicly an emulsion with skin conditioner and UV filter. It hydrates and protects the skin. Just like promised. Its a good base for a skincare Routine. 

But! The cetearyl alcohol can !may! cause acne! Its a fatty alcohol or more like 

a "moisturizing alcohol" wich is at first nothing bad. As you should know there are ''good'' and ''bad alcohol'' in the skincare industry. The cetaryl alcohol is safe but maybe pore clogging!

I made the mistake that and applied this cream before my make up and my make up started to crumble. Also I felt like the cream and the make up were "too much", too thick, or too heavy. So I washed it out and I only use it in the evening or when I dont use any make up. It calms my mostly  temperamental skin.☕
